I am originally from Michigan, currently residing in Hollywood, California. Around the ages of five and six I fell in love with the piano and after a couple of years of convincing my parents that this was not just a phase, I began lessons and have not looked back since.
It was in high school where I developed a strong passion and affection toward music and theatre, which has only deepened since that time. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Oakland University where I studied all things music, theatre and dance. From there I moved to New York and received my Master's Degree from New York University's TISCH Graduate Musical Theatre Writing program. For my two years there I ate, drank and slept Musical Theatre and loved every second of it.
After New York I moved to California and have been continuing writing Musical Theatre as well as moving into orchestral writing for Film, TV and Video Games.
